    New restaurants Tallgrass, Naples Flatbread opening in downtown Tulsa

    A pair of new restaurants are opening in downtown Tulsa. Tallgrass, which will feature modern American cuisine, craft cocktails and live music, is moving into the former Blue Dome Diner space at 313 E. Second St. Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar will move into One Place, across the street from BOK Center. The restaurant features a variety of flatbread toppings, pizza and pasta dishes cooked in a hearth oven.

    Forum focuses on stimulating downtown development through the arts

    Cities across the nation have discovered the economic benefits and improved quality of life from investing in museums, galleries and performing arts. The Tulsa Regional Chamber organized a forum May 15 focusing on the arts and economic development in downtown Tulsa. The event, held at Hardesty Arts Center, featured a presentation from Bob Bertges, Wells Fargo, whose vision changed the physical landscape, economic success and desirability of visiting, living and working in downtown Charlotte.
